  • Special Guest Interview: Steve Butler: Master Backhealer
Steve Butler is a Master Backhealer, ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer and Specialist in Performance Nutrition and a Yoga Therapist.

Steve was born with no discs in his low back, a mid-back scoliosis and a reverse curve on his neck. At seven years of age he began experiencing severe neck pain, migraines and even black outs. At the age of nine his first x-rays revealed the spine of a 90-year old man.

Throughout his teens Steve had severe pain, especially when playing competitive sports. By his early twenties he was unable to walk for long periods of time, and soon his headaches became debilitating.

Steve used a pressure-based treatment similar to acupressure to relieve his neck pain and never experienced a headache, migraine or blackout again. But his low back pain remained, so he immersed himself in the research and trial of many therapies including chiropractic, all forms of massage, Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, acupressure, acupuncture, weight training, yoga, nutrition, breath work and energy work.

The first day Steve experimented with breathing techniques he experienced an immediate release of all pain and tightness. Combined with his own miraculous recovery, continuous research and feedback from clients, Steve developed his unique Backhealer Method.
